Oh January. One of the LONGEST months of winter.

The endless gray outside, somehow has the power to slip inside.
Inside our heads, inside our hearts.
Here are a few ideas to give you a little boost if you are feeling the winter-gray-blahhhs.
Let yourself be comforted. Keep a soft blanket on your lap. Add an extra to your bed.
Get extra sleep. Let yourself go to bed early.
Make a favorite soup or casserole to enjoy.
Don’t dwell on how you feel. Remind yourself it’s okay to feel funky every once in a while.
Get outside if possible, or visit an indoor garden. Buy a new plant for your bedroom or a bouquet of flowers for your table.
Drink plenty of water.
Cheer someone else up with surprise flowers.
Light a candle.
Wear yummy scented lotion.
Take a warm bath.
Hang some white Christmas tree lights.
Inhale deeply, exhale slowly. Repeat a few times.
